Mit der Social Bot EP veröffentlicht Oberwasser seine zweite Solo-EP auf No Divas. Er liefert damit 5 individuelle Tracks, die vielfältige musikalische Einflüsse widerspiegeln. Filmreife Synthesizer-Hymnen (Hybrid Theme, MIDI) und unkonventionelles Vocal Sampling (Romina P) treffen dabei auf loopigen Disko-Glamour (Italian Airplane) und technoide Ernsthaftigkeit (Social Bot). Die oberwassersche Instrumentalisierung verleiht dieser thematischen Vielfalt einen einheitlicher Charakter. Staubige Synthesizer-Leads, warme Bässe und klassische drum machines versetzen den Hörer in die Zeit zurück, als aus Synth Pop Techno wurde.
